SDA dwellings have accessible features to help residents live more independently and allow other supports to be delivered better or more safely. A small percentage of NDIS participants may be eligible to receive funding for Specialist Disability Accommodation and assistance with daily living costs. The main aim of this funding is to provide people with disabilities, greater independence, and choice to decide how they would like to live their lives.

This will provide the opportunity to move out of their family home or from their group home and live independently in mainstream housing; in an area of their choosing. We at Alatipa Care provide you with a range of housing options so that you can live with greater independence in a caring and supportive environment. Our Support Coordinators will assist and support you; as you explore all your options and choose the services and supports that will help you achieve your individual goals.

We have a range of housing designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs who meets the SDA funding by the NDIS.
